Our Destinations Champagne

The champenois are very proud of their region – and have every reason to be so ! It is a joyful people that sparkles almost as much as the legendary wine that according to Mr Winston Churchill should be served dry, cold and free. The champenois take every occasion to take a break and « se faire plaisir » - treat oneself. 

A lot of time and devotion is invested to make justice to the champagne. Let the champenois share their pride in a champagne school or by a visit at a wine yard. Do not forget to taste the red wine of Champagne, Bouzy, nor the wine liqueur Ratafia, served in a small cylinder glass before dinner.

Except being a gastronomical explosion Champagne is a pleasure for the eye. The thickly foliaged hills of the Regional Park Montagne de Reims, the sloping wineyards, the breathtaking cathedral of Reims…
