Our Destinations Provence

The blue lavendar fields calmly follows the mistral’s warm winds and the fruit of the olive and fig trees slowly matures under the warm sun. The only thing you hear is the song of the cicadas. You are in Provence !

This wild and beautiful country has been a favourite destination for art lovers from all over the world for ages. The yearly theatre festival in the ancient pope town Avignon is a dream for all theatre lover, and those intrested in art will find hapiness in the numberous art galleries in Aix-en-Provence.

The ancient town Marseille is a cultural melting pot that is growing to become one of Europe’s new metropoles. The European cultural capital of 2013 invites you to discover exotic fragrances from all over the world and dangerously beautiful cliffs, calanques, that dive straight into the Mediterranean Sea. From a hill above the city the Nôtre Dame de la Garde vigils over the fotball god Zinedine Zidane’s birthtown.

From here you can chose to go west to the wildhorses’ Camargue or east to the wineyards of Cassis and to Saint Tropez that was was transformed from a sleepy fisherman village to a jet set summer paradise by the French cultural elite in the 60’s.

A perfume of thyme and garlic runs through the Provençal cuisine. The sun flavoured dishes are enjoyed along with one of the area’s delicious wines. Come with us and visit the wineyards to find your favourite between Côte de Provence’s rosé wines and the rich red wines from Luberon.
