In the middle of Europe, the Alps stretches with its snow-covered mountain peaks against the blue sky. The sparkling white slopes invite you to the worlds best skiing and are every skier’s dream. 

The Alps are more than just downhill skiing. Here you can find world-class golf courses and training centres where you can learn the bases or give an extra polish to your swing or improve your handicap. There are many and good conference possibilities and the Alps are perfect as a kick-off or as a reward after periods of hard work. 

Whether you had an adventurous day in the ski slope, at the golf course or just with a good book in the sun, it is always nice to relax in front of an open fire in a cosy atmosphere with a glass of vin chaud.  

The region’s gastronomy includes delicacies like cheese fondue, raclette cheese and light wines from the Jura Mountains. And do not miss the charcuteries, they are worth tasting. 

It is easy to go to the Alps via Geneva. Here you can find many beautiful places to visit. Discover – or rediscover – the skiing in Chamonix or the Olympic city Val d'Isère or the endless beautiful Evian where each time of the year is as beautiful but in different ways. There is not for nothing the world’s leaders choose to meet here.
