France for the children
France is a child-friendly country, with a lot to offer for the small children! Children are welcome at restaurants and open-air cafés as the people in southern countries often bring their kids when they go out for dinner. There are uncountable numbers of activities that you can do with your children in Paris and other cities. We have beautiful beaches and a big choice of amusement parks both for kids and adults! Enjoy the sun and take a swim at the French Riviera or the Atlantic coast.
If mum and dad want to visit the Eiffel Tower, we can suggest other exciting activities for the children within walking distance from the famous monument. Art is much more accessible in France than in other countries and why not bring some crayons and let the kids paint the famous work of art on spot – A lovely memory to bring back home! The Louvre and other famous museums often have different activities for the children.
France is the fashion metropolis even when it comes to children’s clothes, so take the opportunity to buy the latest fashion to reasonable prices, visit an outlet and make a real bargain! There are also a lot of specialised hair dresser for children, where they can have their hair cut by a pro at the same time as the happy kid plays Playstation!
If you are courageous you can try some snails or frog's leg. For those who are less brave, France has a lot of child-friendly food to offer. The Belgian and Frenchmen have during centuries disputed over whom invited the French fries… and of course it was France! According to the Frenchmen, the French fries was born during the French revolution 1789 and had the name “Pommes Pont Neuf”.
Paris Chic offers children suitable residences and four bed rooms for families with kids and we are particular about having child-friendly policy where a lot of our hotels have free stay for children up to a certain age.
